The Bible has much to say about the local church and our relationship to our local church. Psalm 68:8 says that God sets the solitary in families. That means that God leads us and places us in the body of Christ where we will not only grow, but also discover our purpose as we "do life" with other believers. Through obedience to His Word and maintaining a proper relationship with our local church, we are able to find a place of protection and refuge from all that life throws at us.
