The Bible indicates that in the last days, there is an increase in witchcraft worldwide.  This prophecy is already being fulfilled in obvious ways like society's acceptance of and obsession with witchcraft in popular fiction.  There is also the change in attitude toward the occult where things like vampires that had been viewed as evil in the past, are now romanticized in entertainment.

The most alarming increase of all, which has become a worldwide epidemic, is the rampant use of illicit drugs.  In scripture, when it warns of the unrepentance of sorceries, the translation there actually indicates drug use.  The demonic element in substance abuse should be more obvious by the stronghold it has on people and the destruction of their personal lives, and the vast majority of violent crimes that are linked directly to it.  Sadly it has managed to get a hold on the church as well.  Brothers and sisters in the Lord accept it in ignorance, not knowing the devil behind it, and are losing their lives - maybe even their salvation - as the times draw closer and closer to the Lord's return and the fulfillment of Revelation prophecy.
